EU waste shipments go digital: what DIWASS changes for cross-border movements

Most provisions of the revised EU Waste Shipment Regulation have applied since 21 May 2026. DIWASS digitises notified movements, while a temporary paper transition remains for certain green-listed shipments until the end of 2026.
