How to identify eligible containers
Look for the “Ambalaj cu garantie” symbol. It is the key visual indicator that the package belongs to Romania’s SGR.

Eligible scope
Marked non-refillable glass, plastic and metal beverage packaging from 0.1 to 3 litres.
Common exclusions
Packaging without the Romanian DRS mark.
How to return
Return to automatic or manual retailer return points; a receipt is not required.
- Find the identifier shown above or the applicable refund wording on the package.
- Return empty packaging with the DRS symbol and barcode visible, without flattening it.
- Confirm the selected return point before travelling.
